How The Program Works:
- Schools are invited to participate in the Register Tapes for Education (RTFE) program each fall. Each school is assigned a school code – that code is used to follow the school’s activity and is located on the mailing label of the enrollment kit each school receives.
- The school’s enrollment kit contains: an instructional school coordinator guide, postage paid school enrollment postcard, templates for a parent letter, reminders, press release, newsletter insert, program announcements, posters and an educational equipment catalog
- The Schools Enroll in the program
- Schools send out announcements to Parents, friends and relatives (participants) to shop at their local participating stores and turn in their register receipts from shopping to the school.
- The schools receive the receipts and send them in to the Program for credit.
- The schoosl earn one Point of Tape Value for every dollar spent on qualifying purchases.
- Schools redeem their receipts for free educational equipment from the catalog.
Schools with questions can call 800 352-4658 for more information or to enroll in the program.
